I like snow very much for short periods of time. I think it's beautiful.

Do you live in a place with lots of snow or do you just like pictures of it?

I made beef tenderloin and I marinated in a mustard, rosemary, mined garlic and thyme sauce that I whipped together, was good, a little undercooked for my liking but I was going by a suggestion from a website, will try again

I have no idea. That's the fun of sports. It's not over until the last moment!

I have finally decided it's time to diet this year. I hate diets but I'm doing it anyway.

Are you starting a new diet in 2013?

Well, I have a few books that recommend cutting out carbohydrates and focusing on protein, vegetables, and lots of water and green tea. :geek: So far, so good.

How did you lose so many pounds?

lots of exercise, an hour a day at least 5 days a week, replace eggs with egg whites, which I then add veggies, makes for healthy breakfast, replace snacking of bad foods at work or throughout the day with snacking of apples, blueberries, carrots or celery etc, a good salad at dinner, or small salad with whatever else I made, or a good stir fry, cut out all breads and replace with whole wheat wraps, only water or fruit or nuts for a snack in the evening, mostly nothing but water, cut out all salts, especially bbq sauce, only use mustard as condiment most of the time and some hummus, fat-free sour cream, bought low-calories fudgecicles for when I get a chocolate craving, so just lifestyle changes like I said lol

do you like to run or jog?

I've never been a runner or a jogger. I do use a treadmill four times a week though. I like to read. I can go a couple of miles and hardly notice it if the book is good enough! :)

I like your approach. I hope I can stick with my diet. I decided it was time because I have been exercising regularly since the summer and the scale is just not moving.

Do you like to run or jog as your exercise?

nope, I hate both lol, I do walk, at a brisk place, with an incline and stick my head in a magazine by leaning it on the top of the treadmill and 25-30 minutes later I am done, it gets the heart going and I get to read

have you ever used a stairmaster?

I haven't thought of targets and dates.

Do you think it'd be helpful to do that? Did you approach it that way?

in hindsight yes, I set small goals at first which I definitley beat and that made me feel better and helped keep me focused, then I brought it up to a reasonable level and hit all the targets until now lol, but its xmas, NYE and my b-day so I am waiting out the days until they pass lol

do you have an ipod/iphone to listen to at the gym?

I do, but I find that distracts me from my book so I don't use it.

Over the holidays, I stopped lifting weights to save time but I have to get back to it this week.

    Do you lift weights too?
