  • Yes. I see the benefit to them, without a doubt. I just never want to be so connected to mine that I'm not connected to PEOPLE.

Do you like e-readers or do you prefer real books?

No. I truly believe gadgets like the smartphone have allowed people to communicate with each other better. Take this forum for instance. Put us all in one big room together, do you think the interaction would be the same?

Do you think I'm full of bullshit?

    Sometimes :P
I absolutely agree, I think gadgets have immensely opened up lines of communication that didn't exist before...however, sometimes I think it hurts face-to-face interaction/communication--especially for kids who are now growing up with everything. I find many kids are now kind of socially awkward because they're so used to communicating via text or IM, etc...and they don't know how to actually interact on a more personal level.

I don't think I'm full of bullshit and I don't read books or an e-reader. Just magazines and online stuff.

Do you think Deal On No Deal should be brought back?

Oh...and don't get me started on 'text talk'!!! As a graduate assistant, I've graded research papers and tests of college students who are now trying to incorporate it into their academic writing! I'll never forget the first time I found 'text talk' on a test...the person was answering a question and they had a sentence involving the word 'u' and 'b4'. In the margin I put a question mark and wrote, "REALLY? This is a college exam...not a text to your friends." I couldn't believe it!

  • I've actually never been to Vegas...I was going to go in 2010, but went to NOLA instead. So happy I did...

Is it true what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?
