My wife (girlfriend at the time) won two tickets (plus hotel/airfare) to the April 12, 2003, Pearl Jam show at the Orlando House of Blues and took me with her.

    Future vault release? :prayer:

no, it's really expensive (I know they go to charity), and the other prizes they have are things I don't want.

Not that I can remember! It's been a long time since I won something. Mostly because I don't gamble and I don't usually enter contests.

Do you get too many emails that are essentially advertisements?

Yes. I won concert tickets to Aerosmith. (A long time ago.) I won a Christmas tree of CDs, too. I think I won other stuff, but I can't completely recall. (Very early 90's.) I wouldn't win anything now. I don't listen to the radio.

Have you gone to see a band that you were only semi interested in because you or someone else won tickets?

Yes. When I lived in SF, one of my best friends frequently won concert tickets from the radio.

Pleasant. Mid 70s. Partly cloudy. Much needed since we've been having record breaking heat waves.

  • HesCalledDyerHesCalledDyer Posts: 16,427
I wouldn't say extreme lengths, but when I have a significant other, I'm usually pretty good at paying attention to things she says and surprising her. Alas, I'm a one-man-show.

Does a flat count? If so, yes.

If you could be a country, which country would you like to be?

Either Ireland or Canada, I can't decide.

Did you instantly think oftenreading was referring to a flat of beer when you read her response above?

No, I'm sure no-one did since I've made it clear I'm a wine person, so it would properly be a case.

Would you like to pilot a submarine?

Nope. As far as I know you can't buy wine in flats of 24, so the case designation is the proper one. Unless you're thinking of a pallet, but that's a bit much for me.

Is ND a bit too interested in others' drinking habits?

Nope, just with all the English lessons flying around tonight we have to be sure before we proceed.

Is OR half a bottle further than normal into her pallet of wine?
