Honestly not making things up, they are sayings over here, like 'look before you leap' 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush', maybe we're a bit odd over here.

In countries other than the uk are there sayings such as those I've mentioned?

Yes!! Use it all the time.

Another one I like is 'looking with your eyes closed' generally directed at men trying to find something or doing something 'arse about tit' when someone is doing something the wrong way round (last one might just be Cumbrian)

Its Monday here now. But my weekend was AWESOME cos my secret santa prsent arrived and it was sooooo cool! Also had the town Christmas parade which my nearly 5 year was in with her kindy.

great.. busy mind you...and im full of cold...but my boy was 7 he had a great time.


so is it possible for you to take off from oz and fly around the world .And the time never changes as you go over time zones..i guess you would have to fly east...so how long can you do that for.. :?

Only buy a couple a year now days! Used to buy 1 a month when I worked next to a music store - but most of it was crap. Now I only buy albums from bands I really love. If I love just 1 song I'll buy it on itunes.

Have you kept every album you have ever bought or do you purge every now and then and get rid of those embarrasing hair metal cringe worthy CDs?

Oh yes, when you have over 1000 cd's 400 on vynil you have to every now and them get rid of the crap/dead weight.

yes. i got so drunk once and passed out, i woke up totally lost and said "where the hell am i"? a 392 pound woman with a mustache said "in my bed big boy"! :shock:

I usually spare change downtown when i am in cities, it was nice to give a couple of left-over slices of Chicago deep dish pizza to a homeless guy when I was in Chicago this tour.
