  • I haven't, but I'm looking into maybe going there in October.

    Any recommendations?

If you're going in October might be there for Fantasy Fest! I think it's the last week in October...I'm hoping to experience that next year! If you like bloody mary's.....The Green Parrot has the best ones ever! At least they did...I hear Pat Croce took it over...hope he didn't change it much. There's a little bar called Durty Harry's and the house band there is the Durtbags...really good cover band! Um...wow...so much I love about Key West! I could go on and on...

Anything specific you want to know about?
No time to be void or save up on life...you've got to spend it all.

  • afroannnieafroannnie Posts: 12,995
Yes..at night. It got down to the mid-40's.

When it's cold..leave the window open with covers or close the window and no covers?
Show #13 was a lucky one for me....
  • Open with covers!

Need to be bundled at night, or sleep on top of the comforter?
  • afroannnieafroannnie Posts: 12,995
Definitely bundled...I like it cold with covers.

What do you consider "perfect weather"?
Show #13 was a lucky one for me....
  • Mid- to low 20s (celsius), sunny with a light breeze.

A couple of years ago we got hit with back to back storms so we easily had 4 feet on the ground. People around here just snowmobile on the roads before they're cleared.

What's the biggest snowfall that you've had where you live?

I don't remember the total, but ine year it snowed 18 inches in an hour...it was crazy.

on a cold day, what's your 'warm-up' beverage?
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, The Usual Suspects..... there are more but i don't want to go on all day

how were your seats at the show?
  • To me, they were awesome. Floor, Row 33, seats 39 & 40. I could see each band member just between people's heads...when I stood on my tippy toes. I stood from the moment they came out until they were done...and never left my spot once. To be honest, I was just grateful to be there. It didn't matter if I ended up with nose bleed seats. I was there. Finally.

Did I just use tippy toes???:lol:
