I don't really care what her name is.

Does it really change who she is? Really?
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
i was thinking about it, and if I were to go to a pre-party or whatever, I'd be walking around with a 420 sticker on my body...that's a little weird to me.

why did you change your name? ;)

Yes I did. We also went to Zion Natl park and some surrounding areas. Had to get out before I lost my ass at the tables!

Do you gamble if you go to Vegas?
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
i gambled $5 in the slot machines in Vegas....didn't have time since I was getting married and we were trying to entertain 20 other people too....next time I'd rather go with just one other couple...

Did you go on any of the big rides? (big shot, NY roller coaster, etc)

No, never have. I got married in Vegas too! Vegas is one of my husband's favorite cities to go to. We go at least once a year.

Do you have a vacation spot you go to over and over?
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
yes, we go to Cannon Beach every year...our honeymoon was a road trip from Vegas over to LA and up the 101 to Oregon for a few days and then home

Where in Vegas did you get married?

We got married at the Treasure Island. Wish we had just done one of the chapels but, oh well.

    How about you?
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
The Flamingo...it had a nice outdoor area...never been there before, so I was calling everywhere and gathering all the brochures, picking a place by the pictures! I didn't like the chapel pics, and some of the nicer ones were REALLY expensive.

Any hotels you always stay at or do you try different ones?

We usually hit up different ones. Who ever has the best deal going.

Do you ever regret not doing a big traditional wedding at home?
  • RKCNDYRKCNDY Posts: 31,013
I didn't want to get married in Vegas...he wanted to do it there...I wanted something small on the beach somewhere...oh well...

would you do a vow renewal ceremony?

No. I've never understood why people decide to do that.

Do you? Would you do a vow renewal?

We didn't exchange vows when we got married, we've written enough poetry for each other to choke a dinosaur. We had the intro music kind of tell our story.

Song that was played / song you want played as your first dance?
  • RYEzupSFRYEzupSF Posts: 6,003
Not married. But the song that I danced to at my first dance was Groove is in the Heart by Deee-Lite

Did you go to school dances growing up?

    You?

I only remember going to one in grade 10 alone, I stood beside the speakers during Enter Sandman then went home. I didn't even go to prom...

    Was prom fun?
  • FifthelementFifthelement Lotusland Posts: 6,965
Not exactly sure what prom equates to. Is it the graduation dance? If so, then yes. Took my 23 year-old ex-boyfriend (who was still a friend). He was a construction worker at my school  I lied to him about my age, and lied to my parents about his. I was so naughty when I was young :lol::lol:

    Last movie you watched?

I guess grad dance would be the equivalent, I actually don't remember them calling it a prom since it was in Canada.

Just watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, I thought the wife had already seen it, I've seen it 2 or 3 times. She was saying she hadn't seen it or doesn't remember it.

12 Monkeys is one of my favorite movies, my favorite changes from year to year but that one is high up there.

Ever watched a movie then years later you forgot you watched it before?
  • FifthelementFifthelement Lotusland Posts: 6,965
    Yes, but I can't remember which ones :? :)

Do you buy DVD's of TV series that you like?

I used to, but never watched them. Now I just stick to Netflix.

Do you prefer watching movies or tv series?

I like both, if a tv series has good writers and actors then I will watch it.
