General assignment. Lots and lots of boring selectmen's meetings, zoning issues, the occasional murder, fires, lots of fun feature stories, got to write a column now and again, in the summers could review concerts. That was in the 80s and early 90s, when people still read newspapers and it was considered a stable career. :shock:

Yes... I wanted to be a vet who worked with dogs and horses only. And had only happy endings and animals who were well cared for and much loved.
I would still like to do that, but realize that, on many levels, it's not realistic... :(

Thrilla: Commuting on the train and in the car. I love to listen when I'm running, but rarely run without dogs (and I don't listen to music when I'm running with them).
