oh yes....now when I see kids walking around they are pushing baby strollers...almost never see any of them outside to 'play'.
favorite thing to do as a kid?

i think it depends on how they were raised really...some kids are really nice, and others are not.
Think we have hope on teaching empathy to children these days?

well i have a guilty confession , dare i say it, i don't mind Lady Gaga that much. In fact, I kinda like her music i saw her live last year  she was actually, good
it's never really bothered me that my friends don't listen to the same music as me, makes me appreciate the music more i guess

I try to...unemployed at the moment and I get bored sitting at home all day...my SO goes away on business a few days every week, so a little lonely too :?

for the most part....I lived in San Jose, CA for a few months in 98....I moved back because I missed the rain (really I did).
Someday I would lovee to visit the UK/Scotland/Ireland area!
Have you lived anywhere else?

you should definitely visit the UK 4and20
London especially
i've lived in a few different places in the UK, different towns. My parents moved around a few times when I was young. I've been in the same place for almost 10 years this july

I missed the Scottish rain too ... that was why I felt so at home in Seattle.I lived in Canada for a while with my partner and when I was based in Seattle I was on a three month backpacking trip so did a lot of travelling around the Washington area.

electrix: see previous post (just lived in Cali and here!)
stargirl: wow...3 month backpacking trip! sounds like fun, but I am a bit 'prissy' when it comes to camping...I'm a magnet for bugs...mosquitoes/spiders/horseflies I always come home with 'camping scars' and my friends will say, 'I didn't see a single mosquito!' and I have bites all over my face/arms/legs
planning any other trips soon?

oh but running around for 2 hours will make you a nice and fit thrilla...not a soft squishy thrilla!
will you try zumba thrilla? (and post a video?)
