yeah chicago 8-23 was a tight set, even though it lacked much of the new material. but for me the
2 most recent shows in Salt Lake City were totally insane, it must take so much thought to put those sets together. with a catalog that the band has, how could it not. yeah S.L.C. has my vote so far, a taste of everything, with emphasis on the new stuff is what you want. i think. its lame to wish that you heard a whole bunch of songs they were playing 5-8 years ago, you shoulda gone to those shows back then.....
peace.... i hope they play Force of Nature in Philly atleast once, it must be magic live.
Clark County show was great. One of the best set list I've heard. First time they ever played there. Vedder called it Clark Kent County, "Where the fuck are we."

The Gorge, July 22, 2006. Ohhhh, you mean this tour ;-). They've all been great (just been to 3 shows this tour though). What they did in Boston in 2003 with an acoustic set followed by electric set later would be awesome if they did again.
though it is still EXCELLENT, i don't know how you guys are saying seattle 1! compared to the other masterpieces of setlists, this is easily the weakest show so far. again though, still amazing.
i would say vancouver is pretty much the best.
but portland isn't too far behind.
matter of fact, neither are all the others.
what a fucking tour so far. unbelievable setlists.

I gotta go with Seattle 2. No Way, all the new stuff, Not For You, special edition "Supersonics", In My Tree, no Alive or Even Flow (has that ever happened before?). This was a setlist for the ages, on a tour that so far has been for the ages!!

I was at Seattle I and Clark Kent County . of those two, I really REALLY enjoyed Clark Kent County. Helloooo...it was the first night of Res Mosquito with Ben Harper. That night was fried gold if you ask me.
Red Mosquito as an opener
No Way
I Got Shit
SOLAT
and BREATH! This song alone is ups the list dramatically
Perhaps the best version of Love Reign since Rock Honors the Who

I raelly enjoy SLC as that looked like a great set-list.
But the Vancouver encore of I Got Shit, LROM, Breath, SOLAT, and Alive is easily the best strech of songs I have seen from any set-list this year. And damn is this version of LROM AMAZING, cannot wait for the boot!
Combined with In My Tree as opener and No Way also on the set-list raises this one to number one for me.
Plus I may be biased because the front row can do that to a guy...LOL. But in objectivity to me it is my favoruite set because it has the songs I would kill to hear, but I really dig that SLC set as well.
Vancouver looks like the best. LA2 looks like the worst. Dissident, Jeremy and Driven to Tears all in one show? I would have had to drink alot of beer to fill that amount of time in the restroom
Too many Canadians on this thread! Impossible to be objective of you've been at a gig. Berlin for me. Fantastic setting for Pearl Jam, great beer, superb crowd and the band nailed every song.

The thing that's impossible is really having a "best setlist" ... it's a flawed concept in that everyone loves different tunes ..
Just look at the thread where everyone is ranking their top 5 albums ...

... if evreyone's going in with different likes and dislikes, ptetty much no one is going to agree on this.
Set list wars and debates are pretty useless, IMO.
