I want everyone's opinion on this:
Is it ok to be naked occasionally in your home in front of your children if they are the same sex as you?
Or sexual abuse?
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

    I agree, I think it is totally fine. I don't even think it matters about opposite sex. Kids are kids and parents are parents.

    Everyone can walk around my house naked besides me, the boy(2) showers with me sometimes, but i think hes getting too old for that even. Gets too curious. But i do have a 10g PA, so it doesnt really suprise me. Now my two girls, they have tried to get peeks in and i have caught them, so im sure there are times i havent. but i personally dont have a problem with it, i just wouldnt want stories to get told and misconstrued by strangers who have no business with my household.

    I think it's weird, but my wife's family don't seem to have a problem with it. My 3-year old son is fascinated with watching me pee. I think that's perfectly fine. But if he were ten it might be a bit weird. :oops: :D

    I have 2 sons and when they were younger I'd walk around in a tee shirt and panties, but that ended quick, besides we'd have people popping in all the time... :roll:

    Now that I'm separated from hubby I'm back to tee shirt & panties... ;):mrgreen:

    Me personally, I vaguely remember showering with my parents at a young age. Probably 4-5 years old.

    If the kids are older than that, yeah, it's a little fucked up to be walking around the house naked.

    It depends on the age of the kids, but personaly I dont walk around my house naked as it is always to cold.

    jaysis fricking christ. why would it not be ok? kids never ever seeing their parents naked would be weird. :?

    I realise that as children get older (12 years or so, as the teenage years are starting to kick in) they might not want to see their parents naked around the house anymore. but I'm sure they'll be more than happy to voice their opinions then. :lol:

    I don't know, maybe it's the sauna thing for me.. there should be nothing weird or creepy in seeing your family members naked. there's nothing sexual about it. (or if there is, that is a whole another thing! but 99% of the time, that's not the case.)

    same or different sex, kids are kids and parent's are parents. (like aNiMaL said.)

    personally, I don't walk around completely naked cause I have big windows and live on the first floor. :mrgreen: (well, I don't have kids either.)

    i have a related problem .... is it okay to walk around naked in front of my cat? I don't do it all the time, but when I do, he always gives me a look as if to say, "Dude ... gross."

    I think it's ok for them to see their parents naked occasionally when they are young. I think it helps them form a better body image for themselves, and that being naked isn't "bad" or "dirty".

    You just have to be responsible about it. I don't think it is a big deal. Personally as they got older i would curtail it, but others i'm sure were raised in a different enviroment that perhaps was more open to that sort of thing and i'm sure they turned out okay.

    Kids need to know right and wrong the rest is just gravy. So if your kid grows up to be a nudist not big deal. Your kid grows up to be a killer... that is a big deal.

    I've got 3 daughters, a wife and a live-in nanny and 2 female cats. My house is full of women so no - I am never naked around the house.
