My dad (not an openminded fella, I assure you) "cured" his acid reflux with apples and cole slaw.
And how long did it take him to get "cured"??
By "cured," I mean symptom-free (is that supposed to be hyphenated?).
Less than 2 weeks at the very most. The medication for his acid reflux wasn't reacting well with his blood pressure medication, so it was apples and cole slaw, or change BP meds, even though what he was on was effective.
Hooray for less money going to the pharmaceutical companies for things you can treat naturally!! :D

    Thanx.

  • I stopped taking ibuprofen. Turns out I have an intolerance to it and it was causing horrendous acid and indigestion, so much so I ended up down casualty a couple of times as I couldn't move with the pain and burning.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
