I just found out my dad collapsed on Tuesday. My parents live in Cour d'Alene and will go to Spokane for tests to see if he needs a pacemaker type of thing. I don't plan on travelling there, but I'll call them later when I get home from work. He had a heart attack 20+ years ago, and a stroke 10+ years ago. I think he'll be ok, but I heard from my twin that he was depressed. Makes sense to me that he would be depressed, this health stuff is scary.
So I just talked with him. He's getting a difibulator on Monday, but he's in the hospital now. The bottom of his heart was beating very fast, and the top wasn't responding, and that's why he's getting the difibulator. The doctors said he could still play volleyball in his league, so that's cool.
The 911 team had to shock him on Tuesday, but he doesn't remember it. He said they told him that they will give him medicine to help with the shock, but he doesn't remember feeling the shock. He wasn't slurring on the phone, and he sounded mostly aware of what's going on. He didn't have an IV in. My mom had to drive home which he said is about 40 miles from the hospital.

a few weeks ago my son's soccer team lost a game 4-0, they only had 8 players show up, so no substitutes. Tonight they played the same team in the first game of a weekend tournament and won 7-0. The other team's coach was livid, thought he was going to pop a neck vein
a long ass week capped off with the kitchen sink backed up. Draino aint gettin it. Far to late to go back out in the rain to buy a household drain snake, that chore gets to wait til the morning.
