One of the reasons I fell in love with my guy and his mind:

He was just shaving off his beard, and stepped out of the bathroom with only a towel and a Hitler-esque mustache (though his is brown and grey).  We yukked it up, and as he went back to finish, he turned around and ominously said, "And I married a Jew", then slowly closed the door while giving me the stink-eye.

    I fucking love him.

I'm generally not an anxious person, try not to really let my mind wander but yesterday I was crippled by anxiety and ended up in a very dark and dangerous place.  It really hit me when I heard about bars and restaurants closing in New York City even though I live in Canada.  I wasn't bothered by the chaos at work ( grocery store  ) or really anything else but the bars and restaurants closing in NY did me in. Since then the anxiety has been coming and going in waves, I'll be good and then all of a sudden I'm on the verge of breaking down because all I'm thinking about is that I may not get another chance to take my son to a Blue Jays game or that last Sunday could have been the last time watching him play hockey or I'm not going to get to see my brother who is living in Ireland again.  I generally know that those thoughts should be false but for some reason my mind isn't allowing me to think that. Ok I think I'm going to be good for a bit.  Thanks.

Takes my pal in NC to let me know that voting is back on tomorrow. Oy. Thanks @lolobugg !

One of our managers was handing out papers on how to file for unemployment, so there's that. I see the gallery shutting down temporarily by the end of the week. :weary:

    And...voting is back off again.

Thank you for that. Today was a better day, it was my day off and I have drastically cut back on social media and tv news. I've still been anxious throughout the day but better than yesterday.  One day at a time.
