Water main break in my county, again! We made international news last year when people had to be rescued by helicopter out of their cars when a water line broke. Oi! What a hassle to wake up to low water pressure.

ya know, i was reading a christmas and consumerism thread here and it got me thinking - this has been one of the BEST holiday seasons, and honestly...i usually thoroughly enjoy my holidays, and next to no stress. years ago when i bought a lot more gifts, even then...i shopped/wrapped before thanksgiving, so i could entirely enjoy the month of december. nowadays with a shrunk gift-list, took off thanksgiving thru 12.07....did my shopping, wrapping, very few cards, whole house decorating, TREE! .....all so enjoyable. gone out a LOT....seen a lot of friends....ate a lot of good food....drank too much wine .....good times! and christmas isn't even here yet! i've got beautiful plans surrounding the holidays, filled with family and friends.....good food and drink...relaxation.....firm-designated time off, christmas thru 01.05. i feel really blessed and happy. given the times, i truly, truly appreciate it ALL.
and this evening, our firm holiday party!
life IS good.
just trying to figure out how to pay the bare minimum on my bills. Can't hardly even do that.
