    i had never heard that song before. i am already figuring it out on guitar. this song pretty much rocked me to my core an hour ago. so poignant and sad.

    i will see what i can do. it is REALLY hard to sing like him. he has that deep and gravely voice. i tried to do it the other day with that "picture in a frame" video i made and posted. every time i did it it tickled my throat and i coughed. i think singing like him will be more difficult than figuring out the guitar part. i think it might be a half step down because there are 2 parts i can't figure out what he is doing. i suppose i can look for a live version on youtube and try to figure it our from there...

    I think if you don't have the voice, you should try to really look into making it your own, not imitating or anything. Good stuff can come out of that.

    yeah, it is easier to make things your own, but sometimes people are more critical of you when you do that. they complain that you did not stay true to the original :fp: i perform for my benefit anyway, and if something i record is presentable then i might post it. if it is not presentable, i bury it, never to be seen again LOL...
