    On my mind - Cav is at band practice 8-) I never had a guy who was in a band, that's kinda exciting :D

    The show, Parts Unknown, is on CNN. You can probably watch it online through their website or YouTube (I think). It's not so much the "hipster dining" that intrigued me, but the sidewalk BBQ. I'm a sucker for a good BBQ.

    C'mon...Detroit is the home of Hitsville, USA, MC5, The Stooges!! What is not to like? 8-)

    I asked him if I should bring a parka! :lol: But actually the difference in average temp for NY and DET is only like 5 degrees. I will survive!

    On my mind ... I think I'm gonna make cookies tomorrow. I cannot seem to get the plum butter from my mom out of my head. I wanna do something with it and I found a recipe for poppy seed plum butter cookies. They look great 8-)

    Plum jam, plum jelly, something like that. It is delicious, tastes a bit like cinnamon too :D My mom sent me a jar cause of all things I started craving it really really bad, and it was nowhere to be found.
