    i'm going to be gone for a few....changing from the recently installed windows 7 back to XP since 7 is giving me such a hard time.

    i hope i do this right...done it before....but not on this particular machine.

    I redid my entire laptop...and look....I'm StillHere and it works!
    Got rid of W7, put XP back on, got McAfee up and running, downloaded some junk...got my photos and music back off the server.
    Good to go.
    Someone should pay me for this stuff. :)

    well I didn't say I was an uber-geek
    the lack of reliable anti-virus software was what got me in trouble in the first place, and then I ended up with W7, which I found to be very unstable on my machine, so I put it all back the way it was..PLUS...anti-virus software

    Just take a step outside if you're anywhere in the great Mid-Atlantic...there's plenty of water coming down out there....you should be able to go and it'll disappear in no time....heheheheheeee
