It's getting hard for me to sit here and finish this work day, just thinking about how in a week from now I will be struggling to do the same thing just before leaving to head to the Philly show.

I've been getting AARP brochures since I was 18. I think someone signed me up in college as a joke. (classic).
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

On my mind: a sweet, beautiful and plucky friend.

I shall be reviewing AARP stuff this weekend (and I hate how AARP sounds in my head; it's seal-like).

Have given in to my Muse addiction once again and booked flights to Stockholm  Now debating whether to go for the ticket someone offered me or hold out for a slightly better situated seat. Did I mention I have serious trouble with decision-making

Yeah she got annoyed with people all of a sudden and said she was leaving. Think that might be over a month ago now?

Best wishes. That is a very awful feeling, waiting to know, fighting all the worst scenario thoughts in your head, etc. I've been in the same place with my dad for both cancer and his heart (he is healthy now!). It is scary, worrying, stressful. Take care and do your best not to think about it until you know for sure, since you can't have a game plan until then anyway.

the worry I guess is how severe it could be the biopsy was yesterday so we wait two horrible weeks
talk about stressing especially for him
But he's got plenty of support and I got this good feeling don't know how but
He will be well looked after by us and he will be ok and his life won't be at any
Threat because that's how strong love works I believe

I'm thinking that people need not to let life happen to them and start happening to life. Random thought I know

Random thoughts are some of the best ones.

I've found a ranging middle-ground of that works best for me, at least so far.

Wife agreed to let a friend's 7 year old stay the night with us. He finally got tired about 11:00 tonight (his parents just let him stay up til he crashes on the weekends, so we followed suit). Oh my God. I don't have the energy for this. I don't know how parents do this full time. Wow.

    Oh...lest we forget...
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Weekend morning showers are so luxurious...and for someone fairly sensitive to scents, something about it not being a rushed pre-work, all of the aromas - from facial soap to shaving gel to my favorite Kama Sutra Wild Clove shower wash - all meld so nicely together.

Terrible weekend sleeping arrangement for a 7 year old. They need a regular sleep schedule. It's very important (according to all experts on the subject). It sucks for the adults too, lol.

agreed with PJSoul, my son is in bed every night by 8. Our routine starts 715...reading, pj's, teeth, prayers, bathroom, hugs/kisses with family, and then bed. Any later he's a sleepy head the next morning.

OMM- beautiful evening out, just had a great walk with my pups, and want more.

Oh, I agree with you. I was a bit shocked when his mom told us that. Of course, my only other experiences keeping kids are with my nieces, but my sister has them on a tight sleep schedule, going to bed at 8:30. They only get to break bed time for special circumstances, but even then the girls are usually ready to sleep within 10-15 minutes after their normal time. I really felt like it wasn't my place to say anything, especially since I don't have kids of my own.
