My bf got me desperately needed new bedding for the holidays. And now it's so fluffy and soft and comfy I never wanna get up in the morning! Not that I wanted to before, but now it's extra hard!

And it's funny, even the cat can tell! The first time he jumped up on the bed after I put it all on, he just sat there and purred loudly!

On Sunday I found out that my bike was stolen. It was locked to the bike rack in my apartment building so they had to cut the lock with a bolt cutter. It's not in the view of the door, so I think the person that did it lives in my building... I filed a police report, but unless it turns up somewhere, there is likely nothing they can do as i don't have any leads on a suspect. Kinda scary as I never had anything like this happen to me.

Sorry that happened to you Frankie...that really sucks.

Ah that's crappy :( Easy enough for someone to slip inside the building though, so wouldn't assume it's someone living there. Dunno what kind of area you live in but I know my neighbours wouldn't be the bike-stealing types :)

Frankie, that's terrible, particularly knowing whoever did it was in the building. I cycle commute daily and ride for fun on weekends, so I really rely on my bike, which is at least 15 years old and a tank by today's standards. I've thought many times about upgrading but I always come back to the fact the my current bike is unappealing to thieves, and any better bike I got probably wouldn't last long. Bike theft is rampant in my city. Best of luck getting it back, but if that doesn't happen, I hope you'll be back on a new bike soon.

    Preach!

I even signed up for one of these things they do for students here to get cheap tickets but they never have the good stuff on there. It's upsetting. I mean I live less than half an hour from the fuckin' theatre district and I N-E-V-E-R get to go see anything. Stupid.

They sure are! They do have a lottery sometimes on Twitter--I actually won tickets to the show that way once. No way I could have afforded them otherwise.

I do think you have to be in the NY area for the Twitter lottery. Otherwise, the lottery 2 hours before the show could be worth a shot! You line up, put your name in, and if they call your name, you get cheap tickets (usually cash only).

Haven't heard of Rush tickets...or the TKTS booth. I know sometimes some venues release tickets for no-shows. I've bought standing tickets for the ballet.

I need to look into options some more!

They had TKTS in London too, so I thought maybe it was common. Rush tickets are direct from the box office. Usually when it opens you get tickets for that night's performance for ~$40
