    screw it! Just picked up a pair of tickets to Muse in NYC !!!! the show is all the way in April, so time to plan and make it into a nice trip.

    Had a dream last night where my sister and I were pulling away in a car saying a final goodbye to my dad (in the dream he was still alive, but we knew we were saying a final goodbye to him), and all I remember is my dad yelling to us that he loves us and will miss us. And I don't normally remember much from my dreams, but I remember my dad specifically calling out to me, 'Sam, I love you', and a few other personal related things I don't really remember. Wow. I am in bittersweet tears right now. I think it means he's OK. I was waiting for something like this.

    We know that she pulled the trigger. But she says he forced her to do it so as to commit suicide. I think they'll be arguing whether what happened actually constituted force. The witnesses agree that he's the one who pulled out the gun & was drunk & angry. But nobody saw exactly what happened after she coaxed him away from the people he was threatening. I think her story is true. And even if some details are found to be wrong, I think she did it in self-defense. (But the prosecution will likely argue that if she had the gun she was no longer in danger.) I've always thought he was controlling & possibly abusive. Regardless, it's just a totally fucked up situation. (And, yes I'll say it, just another reason to not have guns around the house.) And the media, who are informing public opinion, are completely full of shit. :x
