My sister and I both had a hard day today....my dad always went above and beyond on Valentine's Day and would get us candy, flowers, teddy bears, cards, even whole cakes--the whole shabang. I'm really glad she called me to talk about it, she doesn't do that often and turns out, we both needed it.

Yeah I was thinking about that as I was on the phone with her. Felt like absolute crap I didn't think of it earlier. We both didn't know how much yesterday was gonna affect us. She's visiting this weekend so I'll have to come up with something nice!
