what to do today? yesterday was my birthday and I wanted to use that day as a lazy Saturday. Ate foods that were not so good for me and lounged around like a beached whale in front of the tv. My dad passed away 9 months ago and since then I pretty much have been avoiding any physical activity and my diet has been full of sugar and crap. in short, I have let my body pay for my sadness. I have been feeling awful. bloated, tired and bored. Time to kick all that to the curb.

I started late last night by lightening up my sock drawer and things like that. I'm mentally ready for a spring clean. After cleaning the bathroom and going through the cabinet in there I'll head to the hall closet and scoop out all the unusables in there. I'm definitely going to clean out the refrigerator and the freezer. When all cleaned out I'll plan a menu for the week and fill it with healthy foods. I can go to the gym and just start small, a nice long walk on the treadmill with an automated incline. Then I need to sit down later today and get a plan together. A few goals and a way to get there. I have a few gift cards I'll use as a motivators. I can start small with a $25 one for Macys, $100 for Sephora and an hour massage for The Red Door.

Having a healthy breakfast, 2 eggs, onions, peppers, spinach and a sprinkle of cheese with a 1/2 an orange.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

I'm sorry about your dad. It sounds awesome that you are moving forward, and best wishes with your internal and external spring cleaning. :D

Sorry about your dad (((HUGS))) Congratulations on your decision to take action. Small steps will inspire bigger ones, just have your goal in mind and keep on plugging along.

Your healthy breakfast is inspiring me to have the same :D Was going to run out to get McDs breakfast (I LOVE McDonalds, it's one of my character flaws :lol: ) but I'm going to whip up a veggie omelette and have some fruit instead. And maybe some bacon

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Good for you and your game plan! I am sorry to hear of your loss, but, it's great that you've gotten a second wind and you're ready to start taking care of you again. That's the most important thing!!
The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols
