Living is no laughing matter: you must live with great seriousness like a squirrel for example - I mean without looking for something beyond and above living, I mean living must be your whole occupation.

I'm sure the cost of an expidiated courier is far less expensive than my lazy butt going to Walmart and buying a couple. :fp:

no! It's totally justified! I don't think that person saw me...if they did, they wouldn't have recognized me anyway.
That person was so mean to me in school, pushing me down the stairs, tripping me, kicking me...if he said anything to me, I would have kneed him in the junk and then punched him while he was down.

Seriously??   Kids can be so mean, what a douchebag. A knee to the junk would have been justified as well!

WTF?! For real? I am truly stunned ... like, he was a guy who thought it would be a good idea to push a girl down the stairs, and trip you and kick you? And this was in high school?! WTF.

That stuff's not right. I kind of want to find this guy and do so damage to him myself.

thanks kw! I'd get joy out of watching that guy get his ass beat...not that I condone violence, but I really never understood why him and a few other boys thought it was a good idea to pick on a girl.

I don't like bullies one little bit. My family moved from Sun Valley to Boise my junior year of highschool and coming from a resort community with a bunch of hippy minded peeps to the "big city" I didn't transition well. Got in a fight with the middle linebacker, defensive captain of the football team within the first couple of weeks. We were playing floor hockey and just to be a douche, he checked this little tiny Vietnamese exchange student into a concrete wall. I totally saw red, forgot about the game, ran over at top speed (I can run fast) and checked his ass into the same wall. He picked himself up, dropped his hockey stick, and tried to get into my face at which point I started beating him with my own hockey stick. Never drop your weapon and always use one if you got it. The gym teacher had to tackle me from behind to get me to stop.

I was ostracized in social circles, but it was worth it.

Life in the big city planted the seed of anti-social behavior. CBG, can you back this theory up?

I once did the whole pull someone's shirt half over their head so I could land punches at will... but that was in a game of street hoops. He fouled me for the last time that day. :D

Does that technique have the same effect if the dude is wearing a basketball jersey?

I think those seeds were already planted (thanks dad) but they really took root and sprouted at that point in my life. Never looked back!

Just a t-shirt. We usually made fun of people showing up in an actual jersey to play street ball.

I don't condone violence either, and I'm somewhat embarrassed to say I've never been in an actual fist fight (I like to think I'm good at talking/using humor to get out of tough situations). But God help the first person I see purposely physically hurt someone I care about ... as Snakeduck said, I'm certainly I'll just see red.
