Just saw a live aerial shot of NBC / 30 Rock on the television.
The rain and wind are relentless, & are going to severely worsen in the next hour or so .
The storm is merging with another storm and we would be getting 3 feet had this been snow ....

    thinking,

how sensible / non sensible would it be
to wrap myself up in a few layers and weatherproof myself,
    to go wait on line

( * ironically enough NBC is holding tryouts for The Biggest Loser this morning at 10 am , so expect more than 1 line, one line longer and one line just a little bit larger ) ;)

just because you may be in a line with a few other dedicated lunatics,
you may not even be selected for the rehearsal or for the live broadcast .

The studio is a tiny little boxlike structure, so they can only fit in so many .

    so f'n tempting,......
For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive

I wasn't sure if the phrase was "Holy Torledo" or something else, so looked it up on Urban Dictionary. I came across #3, never heard it before and laughed out loud.

Gambling lambs, saw lots of tiny lambs in the fields today and said to hubby how nice it is to see lambs gambling around the field. He looked at me as if I was loopy and said I'd made that up - damn sure that gambling in relation to lambs is real

shopping for a dishwasher for my mum.
I have the list of what she doesn't want, but the list of what she does want only contains 2 things! Adjustable racks and preferably miele.....she won't go shopping with my dad to buy it, and knowing dad he won't buy a miele...so for the next 15years or however long it takes to die, I am going to hear about "the useless bloody dishwasher your father brought". Just like the useless washing machine, clothes dryer, computer, car, vacumme cleaner, previous dishwasher.....oh fuck it...everything he purchased, cos she wouldn't get off her ass and do it.
Apparently the blame is to be transfered to me as I share genetic material with him!

mmmm better start drinking early today!
