No more SELLOUT threads. No more ED'S VOICE IS SHIT threads. This band is not responsible for YOUR hang-ups with "corporate machines." They are not your saviors and do not need you looking up to them as icons of truth and individuality. That was 1992, fucker. GET REAL.

    People are just being negative because it's easy to be negative. Who is out there making better rock music now? Bruce's new stuff sucks, Dave Mathews has always sucked pretending he knows rock, nobody comes close!

    The hate wave will break eventually ... I do think people are being overly close-minded, but what else is new? This happened with Binaural and Riot Act too, although maybe not to the same degree. The album is a grower for me ... As I said in another thread, this is not a bad thing.

    im pretty sure its you who is looking up to them too much - that they can do no wrong and if anyone says they can then the board should be shut down. :?

    and yes, there are a lot of whiney punks on this board. it doesn't make sense to me for someone to "contribute" or hang around a place, or board in this case, centered around something you think sucks. these haters must hang around dumpsters all day bitching and moaning about how it doesn't smell pleasant.

    i'm looking at them for what they are .. which is a rock band with catchy fucking tunes that makes me drive fast and think hard. i dont care where or how they sell their god damn albums.

    It's weird. For a few days there, I was thinking this was the first album in a long while to enjoy nearly universal praise on this board.

    It's as if all the Debbie Downers were on vacation until today.

    Well in my defense I've kept all my opinions in my thread.

    It's not that I don't like it, I just don't think it's as good as people make it out to be. I'm a little dissapointed in it, but that's okay. I said so in a very respectful manner. :)
