...on this forum who still hasn't heard Backspacer? Its like I'm being punished for not buying Bianural the day it was released (or year even) and its making browsing this site a veritable minefield with the click of a potential spoiler exploding under foot with every new thread. I'm already bloodied with peoples impressions and have an arm missing from jumping on top of some rather heavy insert artwork pictures.

    I haven't gotten my copy yet here in Virginia so finally I broke down and listened to the album on the band's myspace page (minus The End). I know it doesn't have the sound quality of the CD but I couldn't take it anymore :D

    I have the feeling that my postman (if he isn't on strike) will fail to deliver it to my home address on Monday so I shall come home to a red note asking me to collect it from the Sorting Office on Tuesday morning. Thats an awfully long time from now...

    I pre-ordered mine through Play.com and I've just checked and they say its been dispatched today. I'm not expecting it to be delivered for Monday!

    Spaggles....you are not alone.

    I didn't pre order as it would be late coming to Canada. I didn't download the leak.

    Sunday Night (this might sound a little wierd), my wife is working at the hospital overnight and once I get the kids to bed....it will be me, a beer or two, headphones and Backspacer.

    Also waiting in Virginia (Arlington). Hopefully today, but probably tomorrow. either way I am holding out until I can make myself a white russian, put on some headphones and, like a previous poster wrote, slip out of your world and into a better one...

    It comes to the UK 360 Marketplace on Sunday so I will be DLing it and playing Fixer and Supersonic until the postman comes (or my girlfriend pulls the plug).

    I got my copy inthe mail yesterday!! Pretty damn quick too, only took two days after the shipment notification. Thanks for the quick work 10C! Naturally, I'm loving every song on the album. They really hit a fuckin' homerun with this one...
