    This was on cable this past weekend while my girl and I were getting ready to go out ... we ended up watching it ...

    He was awesome in Outsiders- Man the net worth of all those kids nowadays....

    He was awesome in Red Dawn

    He was at his best in Point Break

    Road "Fucking" House- never a better white trash movie made. I watch it on TBS all the time

    He did make some great bad movies (Point Break, Roadhouse, Red Dawn). But the Outsiders is my favorite - it is a classic. What a cast. RIP Patrick.

    i've seen a bunch of swayze flicks, most mentioned in this thread tho i think i missed red dawn. was never one of my fave actors by any stretch, but definitely seemed a genuine guy and 57 is just way too young to go...
