Well, my friend is the PJ freak ... she got the tweet and called her sister, then her sister went to Streetlight. Had to be at least a 20 - 30 minute process. Don't quote me on that though.

Ha Ha! Well, I will let you win if you let me have a peek of the orange LP and beear . I'm way east of Amoeba, actually hoping for Rhino Records in Claremont to have a surprise one when I go there to buy Backspacer vinyl
In case anyone is interested, the UK version is numbered and is black and is a 200 gram 7" vinyl
Do you know is numbered out of how many? Very interesting that they make 7" 200gram, isn't it heavy? Where can you find it?
Now I have another vinyl to chase.

I would think it weighs 200g :roll:, but that's unlikely since it's only a 7". It's only about 1/3 the area of a 12", then it would have to be 3x as thick as a 200g LP! :shock:

Ha. I work at a school about 10 minutes away from that store. As soon as I got the tweet on my cell I rushed out of my classroom (luckily school had already ended) and drove down to the store. Broke the law a bit and got there in less than 7 minutes.
As I was walking through the door to the store out come this cute young girl with a huge smile on her face. In her hands was a Pearl Jam "The Fixer" orange vinyl. Seven fucking minutes and already gone!
At least the woman who I talked to at the store was sympathetic enough to give me a promo sticker for Backspacer.

O.K. I give up, Rhino is closest one to my home, but still at least 15 minutes drive.
Did you by any chance go in the store anyway to see if they had put out Backspacer Vinyl/CD yet?
As Norm stated, Penny Lane already put Vinyl out, and when I called Rhino 10 minutes ago, they still hold out till Sunday 10AM. Maybe I didn't use my sweet cute voice.

Yep, I went into the store, asked about the orange vinyl, and asked about the cd/vinyl. They said that they couldn't sell the album until Sunday, even when I insisted that other stores already had them out.
