For those looking for PJ wedding music...

Maybe this has already been discovered/ discussed...but since I keep seeing posts about wedding music...i'll share.

Rummaging through a local record shop this weekend and came across, what I believe, is a gem. First time I played Elderly Woman I could honestly picture my future wife walking down the aisle to this....it was pretty cool.

It's called: Mad World: Strung out on Pearl Jam

Its a string quartet tribute to PJ

Strung out on Peal Jam is as uncompromosing as the band it honors. From car radio speakers to arenas across the world, the sound of Pearl Jam is voluminous. But when guitars and Eddie Vedder's muscular voice are replaced by violins, viola, and cello, the resulting music is simply majectic. "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town" becomes cinematic in scope and poignancy. "Better Man" transforms into a subtle, nuanced portrait. Strung out on Pearl Jam is an anomaly of good music.

    Just listened to the extracts of Strung out on Pearl Jam at Amazon.com...pretty funny. Go listen... :lol:

    We made wedding cd's for a take-away gift for coming. I put several Ed or Pearl jam songs on it.
