Thought of another one for the poster nerds ... people would claim there was a new PJ poster or say "I love this poster!!!" and then slap this link up ... it's safe to click, but, obviously not a PJ poster.

It's funny as it affected 2 sites, because expressobeans tracks which prints have the most hits for a day, and this would be near the top of the list and have people scratching their heads.

but the ashton kutcher thread was the all time best... too bad it's not preserved somewhere

i bet some of you weren't even around for the ashton thread?
  • Failedpersephone's 'Stone Gossard' (ala Chuck Norris) got a lot of mileage

The Riot Act thread vs. the Yield thread. And when there was that huge bitchfest over the Yield thread getting locked.

  • oooh... forgot fun with quotes

the bostonlou's pearl jam is playing my backyard show got some mileage too

it's not going to translate or seem as amazing to you but from what i remember... the basic story of the ashton kutcher is:

someone started a thread saying they saw ashton on letterman and they had no idea that he was a huge PJ fan

the reason they thought he was a big pearl jam fan was because he said "a boulder is just a glorified version of a rock"

i kid you not... that is what started this post

so then it dissolved into people making whacked out pearl jam references like ... "hey the guy driving my bus today was named jeremy... i asked him what he thought about the new album"

maybe you had to be there?
