How much money have you spent on Pearl Jam?

So I added up my purchases from the Order History in the Goods section and here's what I got:

2003 - 2009
$3,128.00 Total
$446.86 / Year
$37.24 / Month

For whatever reason, my order history doesn't include the 2000 bootlegs and some other stuff that I bought pre-2003, so my total is a bit skewed. Anyone else add up their total PJ purchases?

I haven't but I bet the mods will be watching this thread.

Does it have to be thru 10 club or other things, like buying tix in the late 90s through the non-TM vendors?

back when people bought CDs I would shell out 25 bucks for an import (alive Jap, Jeremy) to get the one song I did not have. I once paid like 50 bucks for PJ's first live album (dissident) And countless concerts, tshirts, etc.

Ha. I did this a year or two ago. I have to say I was a bit surprised when I looked at the total. But, it didn't curb my spending. Looks like we're pretty similar.

    Nov '03 - Sept '09 = $3,323.32
    /year = $553.87
    /month = $46.15

If you look at the monthly cost, it's really not that bad. A lot of people pay way more than that for cable. And I don't have cable, so that's how I justify my cost at this point. haha

Of course tho, this doesn't include show posters, t-shirts, stickers, etc. that I have from every show. Plus cd imports, vinyls, etc from music stores and eBay.

Yeah, you can count non-10 club purchases. I just used the order history because it was easy to add up. I'd have no idea where to start with all of the other stuff I've bought, like TM tickets, CD's, DVD's, posters, etc.

I was suprised too, but it won't curb my spending either. I have cable and think it's a giant waste of money...but at least I feel like I'm getting value for what I spend on Pearl Jam.

True. Oh, I forgot too about travel expense and tix that I didn't get through Ten Club. Geez. Now we're getting into some money. haha

just on fan club order history

much, much more through other avenues........
"No way to save someone who won't take the rope, and just lets go..."
  • through tenclub it's only $200+. But countless amounts otherwise on tickets, travels, posters, shirts, rare import cd's, you get the picture. I can't even imagine how much. Nor do I wish to. ;)

Post counts or money spent has nothing to do with the measure of a fan. I remembered a thread like this awhile back (couldn't find it thru search) and thought it would be interesting to see how much people spend through the 10c. No alterior motive Mr. Empty Glass ;)

Dosen't include travel, hotels, posters, etc. I would like to see pre 2003... or maybe not.
  • been there since the beginning, so probably quite a bit, not as much as £20,000 though, but still.. don't want to think about it, but whatever the total may be, still probably not enough!!!!!

  • How much

$550 for Bonnaroo my little bro and I (it was my bachlor party - we drove the 1100 miles from VT to Tennessee straight 26 hours both ways) - $370 for 2 nites in Philly (me and my daughter 10/28 and me and my wife on 10/30) - $110 for LiveOnTwoLegs vinyl - $150 for Binaural vinyl - $60 on Tshirts - like $80ish for the fixer vinyl single, the Backspacer vinyl and cd - also go Nothing As It Seems 45 white vinyl for $20 - $150 for the Ten Delux Edition - $200ish for other live disc including bonnaroo that's like "ONE MILLION DOLLARS" (Dr. Evil) counting other odds and ends - more like Oh yeah plus $80 for my BAD ASS Pearl Jam tatoo I got in August - so honestly right around $2000
ps I get to count Bonnaroo because the memory will never fade away and my anniversay is this weekend- thats the wedding for the before mentioned bachlor party
    cheers
