here are mine:

5. Manny Ramirez.. yes flame me away.. i love this guy.. i admire his attitude and his approach at the plate.
4. Ryan Zimmerman.. this guy plays on the most pathetic team in the mlb and continues to prduce and love what he does.
3. Jon Lester.. Beats cancer.. wins game 4 of 07 WS.. throws a no hitter and now is one of the biggest competitors in the game and one of the most feared lefties.
2. Nolan Ryan..
1. Pedro Martinez.. One of the most unhittable pitchers in the game, hands down no questions asked.. sucks that all the injuries happened.. still remember being 7 years old and watching him start in the all star game.. pure bliss.
I will be what i could be
Once I get out of this town

    Wow.

Using a round bat, to hit a round ball that is moving 90+mph at you is absolutely a sport.

Michael Jordon failed at this sport, that tells gives you a little insight to the difficulty.

Yes I did misread your comment, however, I still disagree.

A baseball player is an athlete.

Yes, there are some fat baseball players but then there are some like Jacoby Ellusbury, Ricky Hernderson, Dave Winfield, Derek Jeter, Jose Reyes, Nolan Ryan, and on.

A nascar driver might not be an athlete but baseball players surely are.

baseball is the equivalent of playing playground games like hopscotch ... you don't need much fitness to play baseball ...
  • Being athlete is not defined by how many calories you burn.

Golf is much like baseball, but are you going to sit here and say Tiger isn't an athlete.
