Ive been wondering the same thing... it would be very odd if they played Conan and didn't play Dave.
Further back and forth a wave will break on me, today...

yeah and 3 months before the release date? that wouldn't make much marketing sense to me.

how much notice did we get about the letterman/snl gigs from a few years ago? it had to have been more than under 3 weeks...

was hoping they might do some in the UK when they were here but nothing.....

and for all the media time they were booked for, the Uk jorunalists did not manage to produce one interesting article.

but Im definitely well informed on the 1995 ticketmaster battle and their feud with Kurt fucking cobain.

Sad isn't it. Hooray for wikipedia-based magazines.
  • well, since they're on a tour break that ended them up on the west coast, maybe they're waiting until they get to philly to do New york TV spots. i don't think we'll see them before the 20th, that's for sure.

not sure but i think letterman appearances revolved around the upcoming and near immediate release of each respective album.

Farenhiet 911 & VFC Tour - don't get up fellas

No doubt they will be hitting up Dave, for at least 1 night , for some BACKSPACER love.
( maybe another fanclub only show after the show ? )

If they can come in a few days before or after Philly, it wouldn't shock me to see them play SNL. Which might mean a quick NY show????? :o
  • I'll be surprised if we don't get a Letterman announcement soon..

Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

I think they sacrificed the long gap between preformance and release date in order to gain airtime on the highest rated tonight show of the decade.

i know why they played that show. but that does not mean they still cannot do letterman or snl in the fall.

IT WOULD BE SO GREAT IF THEY DID A NYC ARE SHOW JUST FOR THE 10C MEMBERS I WOULD BE SO FUCKING PUMPED UP IF I HEARD THAT! I DON'T CARE WHOSE SHOW THEY DO, BUT I PROBABLY WONT BE ANYTIME SOON SINCE THEY WILL BE STARTING THE WEST COAST SWING OF THEIR MINI TOUR!
