Does anyone know what happened to the new song, "In the Time of Man"? Did it morph into a current song on the new cd or could it be a b-side now... The title sounded like a bad ass song.

Just wondering...

  • I read somewhere on here that they retitled it Johnny Guitar. Take that for what its worth.
    2006- Boston I
    2008- Boston I+II
    2009- Toronto, Philly III+IV
    2010- Bristow, Hartford, Boston, Newark
  • LOL. So they went from one of the coolest song titles of all time to easily the lamest. Wow.
  • Yea, In the Time of Man is pretty badass. Johnny Guitar, not so much. Honestly, I just can't picture seeing "Johnny Guitar" on a setlist. Maybe it will be in between Crazy Mary and Dirty Frank.

    Can anyone else confirm this?

In the Time of Man sounds like something from "School of Rock" which is one of my favorites. "You're not hard core...unless you live hard core!"

i thought 'in the time of man' was allegedly an all-eddie composition, words and music? i could be wrong..
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
  • That sounds more likely... Maybe it was TOO HARD for this record and it will make it out next time. Who knows...

"In the Time of Man" is kind of pretentious, it's like naming a song "The Ascent of Mankind" or some shit.
