Lets just drop the issue all together because I'm sick of hearing about it. I saw the guy in Toronto and laughed because it was meant to be a joke, if you guys can't see the humor in it well then... I can't help you.
i'm really suprised that Ed reacted like that...he always seems to have such an awesome sense of humor...maybe he was on his period.
I think Ed was annoyed and rightly so... they put a lot of effort into putting on kick ass concerts every show and some fan is going to where a shirt telling them that his sick of hearing one of their most famous songs.
I also think Ed was sticking up for his buddy Mike McCready. That's Mike's number one song and big moment in the spotlight during most shows. To have someone request that they not play it is a slap in the face.
And I stand by my earlier statement that it was an a-hole move and even the guy who did it agrees based on his open letter.
