Just saw the video where Ed says "We take requests, not orders. You should know better than that".

LOL What a douche. I think said person should identify themself. :lol:

    I saw him before the show and laughed. Then during Even flow, Ed saw the shirt, laughed and made the comment about requests.

    I saw him on the way out.....I have cropped his head to protect the guilty:

    I think it's funny too. I don't have a problem with it, the guy is sick of hearing even flow at every show, who cares....

    I think its hilarious and original. Of course 3/4 of people can't see this and take is soo seriously etc blah blah. Beats looking at 999 million stickmen.

    Judging by Ed's comment about taking requests and not orders, If he just added the word "Please" underneath "No Even flow" he might get his wish next time. He also may want to try "No Even Flow You Pussies" which could be effective...

    Dude is not very cool if he thinks this song isn't great, IMO! I want to hear Mike climb the mountain on them riffs.

    cmon guys and girls settle it down a bit ... im sure the guy is feeling like a bit of an idiot right now and the last thing he needs is for the boards to gang up on him ... and im sure if ed himself knew the guy would be picked on like this im sure he would not have said it ... i think the guy was doing it out of a bit of fun/maybe a bit weird too but hey ... we are all not perfect ... i feel sorry for this guy

    i just feel for him ... how old are we all here? 3? 5? i think a few of us could get over it a little and move on ... i really think ed wasn't as serious as everyone here is making him out to be and likewise for the dude wearing the shirt

    because it's disrespectful to the band to wear a shirt like this in front of them in my opinion. whether it is a joke or not it comes off as a selfish and arrogant and having no appreciation for what the band wants to play. I understand the sentiment of not wanting to hear certain songs maybe but showing it on a tshirt in front of the band is poor taste in my opinion.

    it's funny people.....jeesh, he should be escorted out??? wow, that's a little harsh. why don't you order him beaten with a billy club while you're at it? i like the originality. as has been pointed out, the guy didn't know he would be close enough for ed to read his shirt (he was a lotto winner), and even if he did, i'm sure he realized there was about a .0000001% chance that Even Flow would be skipped in Chicago.

    Was there not already a big thread about this? Did the No Even Flow shirt guy not already come on the board and pour his heart out about how crushed he was when his little cry for attention, got him some attention? Did I not already tell everyone who likes to be overly critical (like this guy) of what the band plays that they are lucky to even have a band so great as to play so many rarities, b-sides, covers, etc... I thought we did this already....

    lol, just ignore the thread if you're bothered by it dude. maybe others didn't see the previous thread. not everybody is able to constantly monitor the Porch.

    lol, i predict there will be dozens of "no even flow shirt guys" at future concerts. although the Wash umbrella movement never did take off like I predicted.
