Outside Lands poster for sale (the fluorecent one!)

A friend bought a couple of PJ's Outside Lands posters (the fluorecent one!) and is selling them for $50 each (plus shipping and handling) that's a very very nice price for a nice print (IMHO at least). Let me know if you're interested and i'll put you in contact with him!

I'm not trying to look for trouble or anything...but wanted to ask why he set the price for $50 dollars when the original price was for $40 - unless I am mistaken?

10c will sell them on their site after the tour ends.

If $50 was the price at the merch, then I apologize for my confusion.

Ok the same ol' same ol' i'm just doing a favor to a friend, but nobody will sell you a Whashington DC 06 poster for $30 Hawaii 06 for $30, or a binaural record for $20 just becasue it was the original price at the store, and the tenclub will sell the the 1st edition this is the fluorecent limited edition only sold at the venue and signed and numbered for the ames bros, not the 1st edition for $30

you have to admit, there's a pretty sizable difference between a poster or vinyl that was released 3 years ago and a poster that was on sale yesterday.

Ok, here's my perceptive on this, although I won't change a thing here because people will buy the posters from your friend - but by doing a favor to your friend, you are not doing the 10c members a favor by telling them to pay ten dollars more (plus more for s/h).

I guess that would depend on others' perceptives as well because they'd argue that they would be paying more on ebay. I see it as two wrongs don't make a right.

It's like your friend bought more than s/he needed...for what purpose?

That's just my perceptive and like I said, I wasn't looking for trouble and I meant that.

I want to see fairness but I'm sure that's another argument too...

How much gas did your buddy spend to get to the festival? how much time did he spend in line getting the poster? $10 over what he paid for the poster that everyone wants is a fair price, imho.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if these posters were like those DC 06 Klausen posters (or some other high demand print), he wouldn't be so magnanimous to be selling them for only $10 above face. I believe this is the same person that initially tried to sell them for $90 on ebeans before dropping the price to $50 when it became quite obvious that these aren't going to be heavily sought after.

My only point, they bought extras for the specific purpose of flipping them the day after the festival. There's a place to do that, and it's called ebay.

well i didn't saw it coming i thought my friend was selling cheap, i want one too but i'm into vinyl and i can't afford both addictions, but well no matter what people will be happy only if it's for free... but again they're in their right to complain, C'est la vie

Hey Arq, i think its cool you brought this here.

People who collect posters will see this as a great deal and a chance to get a print they would oitherwise not have got.

So the price is $10 more. So what. Thats not flipping to me, thats covering costs.

Please dont be put off from doing this again, even if you posted that you were giving away 100 no code vinyls to the first 100 to0 respond someone would moan about it. Its par for the course.

On a side note, those saying that if this in the vain of the DC reaper the guy would want more....its not, and he doesnt.. Simple really, if it was that good, perhaps Ames would have instilled a one per customer limit like Klausen now has to
