I'm delighted it isn't out there yet. Three more weeks won't kill anyone. If it does hit the web early, I'm sure they'll stream it on the website to give people less incentive to illegally download.
At this point, I don't think it makes a difference whether it leaks or not. The way I see it, is you have those who will download it and buy it, and those who will just download. The particular day it becomes available, whether through a leak or an official release, won't change this fact.
If it does leak, I figure I'll end up having 3 copies of it. It certainly won't stop me from buying it from Target, as well as already having pre-ordered it.

I, for one, am glad that this album hasn't leaked yet!! I have been on a bit of a music binge and I don't think I could handle listening to another (awesome) album!!! In the past few days I have really gotten in punk music and it's taken over my life! I now know almost the entire Dead Kennedy's discography and the first 4 Ramones albums!! On top of that I have really gotten into these old Beach Boys records I forgot I had. Oh, and my good friend made me an AWESOME Carpenters mix that is pwning my ears!! So much good music!!!
I've got a few Beach Boys records on vinyl. They are pretty fun to listen to, wouldn't you agree? They take me to another place.
If you are just getting into punk, don't forget about Bad Religion! The record label Epitaph, where most 90's punk started and flourished, was originally set up for the purpose of selling Bad Religion records and has since evolved into the label as it is today. It was started by on/off Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. They opened up for Pearl Jam in Chicago, as you know, but Eddie also contributed to their 1993 album Recipe For Hate. He sang the second verse of Watch It Die and background vocals on American Jesus. But that is just a bonus.
Check out New Maps Of Hell(2007), No Control, (1989), Recipe For Hate(1993), The New America(2001) and The Empire Strikes First(2004). Hell, check 'em all out! I didn't get into them until about 2 years ago when I met my girlfriend but, after seeing them live in Chicago, they are my 2nd favorite band.

I downloaded All Ages a few days ago and listed to it once. It was good but I definitely have to give Bad Religion a bunch more listen over the next few days. Thanks for suggestions! And as for the Beach Boys on vinyl, you are totally right about this! They are so great!! I have a "Best Of" that my mom got in the 70's. Its two disks of a bunch of early songs and they are so good!! The harmonies alone always get me!
if you are in the US you should do us all a favour and leak it yourself Go visit the studio and dress up as a journalist that didnt recieve the promised backspacer record for review.
Im might sound a bit old fashioned but i too am glad it hasn't leaked yet. I feel like a kid counting down the days to christmas on the calender every day getting that little bit closer and a warmer giddy feeling taking over.

I'm now thinking that if this thing hasn't leaked by now it probably won't until release week. :( The Fixer didn't leak either.
