Ok, probably not everyone, but if everyone on here who does own one of both of these DVDs replies, this will be an extremely long thread. But, as Hitch-Hiker said, SVT is also my favorite PJ DVD, if not my favorite of any DVD. I definitely have put it to good use, and I also like to use it when I need a little pick me up, always seems to cheer me up.
It picks me up too, fantastic DVD...I hope there is one for Backspacer, an extended version of the promo vid that's out right now...that would be great, we need more of these...

I was hoping the same thing!

Hahaha!!! Same here!!! My VHS player broke 2 or 3 years ago. That means I haven't seen it since at least 7 or 8 years ago; I was too busy watching Live at the Garden at that point!

That sucks, there's plenty of music VHS that I have to update: Single Video Theory, Instrumental (Fugazi), Live Tonight Sold Out (Nirvana), etc.

Live Tonight Sold Out (Nirvana) finally got a North American DVD release. I have a copy I got off eBay from South America, when it was only on VHS here. But it's finally out there for purchase.

I only have in my possession the MTV Unplugged DVD, and Immagine in Cornice. My cousin, though, has Live at the Garden and Touring Band, so I don't find the need to buy the DVD's since I've seen them so much by this point. Have seen a good amount of SVT, absolutely LOVE In Hiding on the DVD, still want to buy the DVD though.

Sad, but true. :? :D
Hehehe, yeah. I've been posting here so long I forget that we're gaining new fans all the time too. I would absolutely LOVE to e able to see SVT for the first time again. It's so frikkin awesome

"So what does Pearl Jam mean to you?"

"......."
So plenty of people have looked at this question, and I recon if they had SVT and Cornice, they would have spoken up. I am no way a NEW fan, just new to inet. All this itune, download, links, blabla talk leaves me totally in the dark. Got my first laptop three days before signed up to 10C, THIS YEAR! I know it looks like I'm a hermit, but I've been busy involved with life.....did'nt think I needed this. Now I know better. I am a complete Nut when it comes to PJ. My partner isn't even a music fan but knows all the words to all the PJ songs. (Sorry Darl )
Anyway, another one I love is off Touring Band I think, when Ed grabs the woman from the audience and he sings Given To Fly while she hand signs the song, then he has a little dance with her, kisses her cheek, and lets her go back to the audience. I bet she still cant sleep. bitch.
Love it 8-)
• I own it, but never watch it. Not something I would watch over and over again. TB2000 on the other hand, I've watched way too many times
• I just saw SVT last night while looking at some vids on youtube .... was struck by the tension between Ed and Stone during those sessions ... but I like what Stone said about hem coming from two completley different places ...
• I have had it since it's release but never really watch it anymore because I've watched it 10 billion times.

• I love SVT :D

My boyfriend isn't so keen so I don't get to watch it often though :(
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

Bought the VHS tape from Sam the Record Man the day it came out, when I was in Universary. Skipped my morning class, waiting outside till the doors opened. During my lunch break, went to the video room upstairs of the Saint Mary's Universary library room; had my Mythology video tapes by the desk, making it look like I was studying, but I was watching Single Video Theory!

Later on, I bought SVT on DVD. I was so temped to buy SVT on Video CD. Import from Japan. I did make an order for it, including the Start Wars Trilogy, on VCD (2 discs per film). Got an email back that they didn't have anymore SVT discs'. :( And so, I just gave up looking for that disc.

After watching SVT, I kinda wished Pearl Jam did this for every album later on. It was just great to see them jam out, fucking around, telling stories etc.. It was fun.

If they do release this on Bluray, sign me up! :)

Had it for years ... watched it may be twice  I prefer IIC, Showbox and Live at the Garden

Least favourite of the DVDs is TB2000
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Last time I watched it was the evening before Chicago I (Aug 23rd) this year. Always a good view/listen. That part where they splice in that random clip of eV screaming bloody murder always gets a smile and a laugh out of me.

You need to get Live at The Garden. It rocks big style!

Don't forget Live at the Showbox. I think that's also a must-have, even if it is a "warm-up show."

hope!

i love ALL their DVDs, and yes i own all of em. i am a bit partial to SVT just b/c it's so nice and short! sometimes i just want a quick fix of a pj DVD, and SVT fits th bill. i can't just watch some of another DVD, i have to watch it all, so yes....SVT has probably gotten more viewing than the others simply for the time factor. live @ the garden and immagine mean much to me b/c i was at both shows, and i actually pop up now and again, albeit very briefly, in the immagine footage.
Stay with me...
