Who has "Single Video Theory"? I do and I really like it. Especialy the bit where stone and Jeff recon if you look in Ed's eyes, you dont want to mess with that, he gets 'kinda wild'.

Single Video Theory is by far my favourite Pearl Jam DVD. I've watched it countless times and I always find something new to enjoy.
Pretty sure everyone on here owns it in some form :P

I think you underestimate the level of obsession most people on here have for this band.
Many, if not most, of us on here own all the DVDs.

Ok, probably not everyone, but if everyone on here who does own one of both of these DVDs replies, this will be an extremely long thread. But, as Hitch-Hiker said, SVT is also my favorite PJ DVD, if not my favorite of any DVD. I definitely have put it to good use, and I also like to use it when I need a little pick me up, always seems to cheer me up.
words seem so out of place.

they haven't put out a bad dvd/vhs in my opinion. all great.
yeah, but SVT is a favorite because it's the only 90s Pearl Jam we've got on video. we're talking candle and lamp PJ!!!!! And it really warrants repeat viewings because of the editing. I love the little snippets of un-released music in between songs + the cut-away close-ups to various cool objects in the studio. the shots are real quick, but again makes for great editing as a whole. before owning it I used to watch it on youtube, but you miss the in between stuff.
How 'bout Do the Evolution, right? you got Ed not answering the question in the beginning, you got him looking like a fierce animal right after he howls the 2nd time (kinda wild! ha, ha), you got him spitting at the end with his voice starting to go. love how the credits role while music still playing. awesome~

Hehehe, yeah. I've been posting here so long I forget that we're gaining new fans all the time too. I would absolutely LOVE to e able to see SVT for the first time again. It's so frikkin awesome

It picks me up too, fantastic DVD...I hope there is one for Backspacer, an extended version of the promo vid that's out right now...that would be great, we need more of these...
I met my wife here...you can too! Don't lose hope!
and wished I had 100 times as many of these Pearl Jam DVDs :P
You need to get Live at The Garden. It rocks big style!
Don't forget Live at the Showbox. I think that's also a must-have, even if it is a "warm-up show."

i'm SO freakin hyped for the philly shows in october and for backspacer that i've been watching and listening to all the dvds and boots lately non-stop. last weekend it was single-video theory and live at msg, last night it was showbox and cornice. but svt is very special for lots of reasons. for me, yield may just be the pinnacle of pj's artistic endeavors. to see some of the creative interactions and just the personalities shine through is just amazing. it also solidifies my theory that the band simply could not be the same without stone. the guy's riff-tastic talents are just irreplaceable. much love for svt.

The best part of the whole thing for me is when Ed and Stone get snippy about who should be doing the e-bow part during Wishlish and then Stone sort of gets a half smile on his face after Ed screws it up.
I suggest you step out on your porch...run away my son...see it all...oh see the world // I wait on the porch...hoping someday I'll be let in
