    RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVAL!

If I could hear three songs of Binaural at a concert, I'd have to go with:

    Rival
    Light Years
Breakerfall (honorable mention to Parting Ways)

For me, havent heard those ones yet. Just flawless songs!

I got really lucky with Binaural but still haven't gotten Rival (did hear it through a fence during the Boston 08 soundcheck) and then Thin Air. I can do without Thin Air though - great song, but it just doesn't seem like a great 'live' song.

Of the Girl is a great opener though - I hope now that they've played it they mix it in a bit as they get ready for the next run of shows...

Totally agree, I was really pleased they did it in Manchester this year.
  • In three UK gigs I was lucky to see Sleight of Hand, Grievance, Insignificance and Light Years... but the whole albums needs to get more play live, with the exception of NAIS as it is a downer live ;0

I'd love to see a whole show packed with tunes from that album, it's my fave - along with vs - to see live.

    1. Greivance
    2. Nothing as it seems
    3. Rival
    4. Soon forget
    5. Light years

    And maybe Evacuation

I agree. More Binaural, BUT those videos make me appreciate the more recent tours even more.

I know Ed had a lot of personal issues going on in 2000, but he had no stage presence as he does now. He looked lifeless, like he didn't want to be performing back then when compared to now.

There's much more energy, smiles, dancing on the 2006 and 2009 tours. Now only if we could hear more Binaural like that.

Hmm it gives the songs a more emtional and dark edge, i prefer them a lot more than happy smiley good time stuff tbh...

I see what you're saying. He took the songs more seriously and emotionally.. I still prefer happier, dancing, current Ed though.

I do think 2000 had better improvs and extended jams though. I'll give it that.

I agree with all of this. That album was great, adn the songs sound even better live. I love the bootlegs from the Binaural tour; they play a lot of YIELD and Binaural. The Chicago 2000 show is incredible. It's a crying shame everytime I hear Cropduster or some shit from riot act, and they could instead be playing Breakerfall.

Every song on Binaural is good. I even really like "Evacuation".

My three favorite tracks: "Of the Girl," "Sleight of Hand," "Parting Ways".

So awesome to see all the love that Binaural is getting. It's such a great album! I would even love to just hear writers block live!

The chorus may suck but the bridge is really great in Evacuation.
  • Great clips from a great album.

Man the Milan Of The Girl clip was great. I really need to make it to Europe for a PJ show.

The crowds seem to be into a bit more than here in the States.
