    So...I wrote this for you guys and it will be in the next Gift of Life newsletter and possibly in an article in the paper soon....

    "They're called community; a club; amongst other things, but the truth is the pearl jam fans have always been more a family. When Dave and I set out to raise awareness for Gift of Life and Yellow Ribbon Club we knew we would have the full support of the Ten Club community and the Wishlist Foundation (a Pearl Jam fan non profit organization) and they came out by the hundreds. The band has always been active in helping charities across the country and we as a fan base follow their example. They are the best fans; friends; we could ever ask for. I love each and every one of them. I hope we can continue over the next few years to raise awareness for organ donation and I will continue to build on this last weeks experience."

    Zappa99 has a thread out there collecting $ for the US Troops in honor of Veteran's Day. For those who don't know Zappa99, he has tremendously stepped up to the plate in assisting us with the Philly Pre Parties and never once asked for anything in return. He's your ideal Patriot and Pearl Jam fan. Thank you Scot.
