I am debating on ridding myself of:

- 2 Ten Doormats
- Jack Daniel's Whiskey Vitalogy Promo Set
- Pearl Jam mini basketball (no hoop)
- Give Way
- Laptop Bag
- Live in Soldier Field LP
- Ten Picture Disc

PM with interest. I am at a fork in the road here. Not promising anything.

I always thought this was ok here. people prefer prices sure, but I dont think there is a rule on it - could be wrong as havent checked.

These are extremely rare items, and hard to value so I think the guy is doing something quite sensible to weedle out what the market would suggest is right.

For axample the JD bottles havent sold on ebay for almost 3 years. not one since. So there is no trend to follow on price, so to put a price on that is tough. They are worth what someone is willing to pay and that is hard to guess. ebay is the only other route, but its cool that people in this community get the chance at the rare stuff before it goes eslewhere

Its a tough one, it really is. These are exceptionally rare. Like handed out to sony execs high up by all accounts. and very few were made, hence very few are seen.

The last ebay one hit around $750-800 I think but I guess thats when the times were good, before the old credit crunch hit. But there are that many collectors after them i really think the price may be more now. They are like collectors gold dust.

My set were bought as a bigger deal but the price was hefty back then too. they have NEVER sold cheap.

I think the OP knows the value from talking to him. you interested? I can say its the coolest PJ item i have seen.
  • I don't think the JD bottles are anything special, sorry........

And Give Way shouldn't be sold here either, should it?

I mean if you can't mention the 1995 film here, why is the never officially released Best buy Promo album okay?

    Just wondering............

still interested in the Soldier Field LP though ;)

The Giveway CD isnt a problem, the band had nothing against it, the record label did. By all accounts they were pissed it got canned. So i think they are cool with it being out there.

The Jack D Bottles are awesome. maybe not for you, but in person they are great. Trust me.
  • I've seen them in person.they're okay, not worth anywhere near $800 though, but it is a personal opinion only, and everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion.... :)

The guy who showed them to me was asking $400 for 'em in 2005ish.....a good deal, I know, just not my thing...but then, I'd never buy a Reeenk Roink either.....
