much thanks, ladies! there's some nice views from my porch
a few mins prior to that...took this one just after the moonrise over the cascades. i didn't include it with the others because jupiter is very, very faint & hard to make out...above the tree that just barely sticks up in the front, to the left of mt. baker...it's about an inch from the bottom of the pic
I saw this little girl yesterday. She was having so much fun splashing through the puddles in her little Bee-style wellies. I asked her mom if I could take her picture because it was a perfect Fall scene. She obviously said yes, and then grabbed her own camera This pictures just brings such a huge smile to my face :P

Great pix prism. This is one from the other night; not sure why there was an aura around Jupiter but it looks pretty cool
Here's one without the aura and with the moon peeking through the clouds
From the Remembrance Day ceremony yesterday. . . Lest we forget
those are very cool, fifth! i never saw an aura around jupiter before. we do get some lovely looking skies around here, well Victoria's like 40 miles sw from here (as the crow flies.) it's such a pretty place (wish it didn't take 3+ hrs to get there) at times i miss living there
^^^ I think the aura was caused by my camera (or at least the hand holding the camera ), not an actual aura around the planet You're right about our beautiful skies. I love sitting out and looking at the stars.
At the beach . . .

I took these pictures in Scotland, in the Highlands (if you click on the picture, you can access the album on Photobucket), except one (number 3) which was taken in Ireland, not far from Galway. I love those atmospheric, foggy landscapes.
Pearl Jam+ Social Distortion, dear God, please make this happen again!!

Awesome. I like atmospheric photos as well. Here are a few I took In the Tofino-Ucluelet region of Vancouver Island. They're from a few years ago and I'm sure I've already posted them on the board before, but whatever I feel like posting them again

awesome! great work!
Here's one I took in Australia years ago. I didn't have a digital camera then so I scanned this pic (I should really get my hands on my old negatives and have the pictures put on CD)

Gorgeous ladies. I especially love the fern one justam. The colour and texture is so soft and beautiful. And yeah, Mikalina, it's hard to do mother nature justice sometimes isn't it?

very nice Justam - not much green here in Ohio - not till next spring.
I miss the look of new snow but I don't miss living in it!
It's beautiful but too cold.
(I like this picture though. )
