Really been on a Depeche Mode kick lately. I found some used vinyl a few weeks ago and watched the Live On Letterman performance and really kinda liked the new songs so I decided to check out their most recent stuff as I kinda fell out of favor with them with Exciter. I only liked a few songs off that album when it first came out. I listened to it again and it's still not all that great but I really like Playing The Angel and Sounds Of the Universe. Looking forward to hearing Delta Machine and since I've never seen them live I might try and get tickets to the Dallas show.
Found some pretty cheap new copies of Songs Of Faith and Devotion and Ultra on vinyl and got Sounds Of the Universe for around $30. Sad to see Playing The Angel is really not available at anything close to a decent price. Need to reissue that one.0 -
I listened to the stream Delta Machine album on ITunes. Interesting album. I will listen to it again as there were a few songs that didn't click immediately, but there are some very good songs like Soothe My Soul and Goodbye, the last two tracks of the album. I may go see them when they come to Molson Amphitheatre on September 1. It's too bad they're not playing the Air Canada Centre: Molson Amphitheatre is a very good venue to go to a show, but it's a real pain to get out since there is only one exit.0
