yep, it is odd, and it's also exactly what happened. lemme see your ticket,,,, here ya go,,.,, come with me.... where are we going... you're leaving... are you kidding me?.... no come with me.... enter into a room at the united center with some suit and tie guy and asked for my drivers license... they wrote something down.... i pleaded.... they said fuck you.... i left.

oh, and yes, somewhere in there... in the office or whatever it was, i said what the fuck i'm not doing drugs i flew here my buddy doesn;t even have a cell phone to let him know i'm leaving and we're staying out by the airport. that was the only time i swore or said anything off color to them. they already had their minds made up and didn;t even respond to 90% of what i was saying to them.

"you're throwing me out for being in the wrong seat and being willing to move to my proper seat?"
    response: silence

    the end.

i was not in my correct seat... my fault. all i am saying is i should have simply been told to go to my correct seat, not escorted out of the building. i'm not sure where this ridiculous shit perception that i was asked to move by the usher and responded "no way dude, i'm not moving!" is coming from.

Things always get blown out of proportion here... I knew that it was your "fault" that you weren't in your correct seat, but the penalty seems IMO kind of harsh. Was this Ten Club?, the venue policy?, you just don't know. Maybe you could write a (polite) personal mail to tenclub and explain the situation; I think they are also interested how certain venues work and how certain security guards react. What I gather from your first post is that you didn't act agressively. Throwing your complaint on this board however - even though I understand it - is like throwing fresh meat to white sharks. Some will have "here-is-yet-another-negative" post and will blow things out of context.

My opinion and advise: write tenclub.

10C doesn't have anything to do with it when you're in your seat. If the story is true, it is some kind of rogue security guard at the venue.

Also, we don't know what Mr. Roid Rage told the usher. He might have said the OP was combative, obscene, drunk or something.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do

yeah, i had 114 row 13 off ticketmaster, not 10c seats. but from what i hear the seat was 10x better than the 300's 10c peeps received :0)

i also wondered what eddie might have thought of it seeing that he's roasted security guards at times. oh well. been to 27, i'll be at 27 more... and then some

and yes, you're right, you don;t know what the guy said to security... maybe not too much seeing that he was a hockey player. all he probably had to say was, "i want this little asshole out of my row NOW, he doesn;t have a seat in this row".

True... Even more important to notify TC. Throwing it on this board is simply not the way. TC will be able to do little except take it into account...

for the record, i just wanted to share an unfortunate concert experience. i didn;t mean to spurn some insane arguing and "fuck new york" boxing match. some people post how great their night was, i was just sharing how stupid mine was.

in retrospect, sort of a stock set and i don;t need t hear neil young songs... so... next up: philly. should be good and i promise il sit in my correct seat... well... maybe not

    What if you can't read?

The authorities can throw illiterate people out of the arena?
A child's rhyme stuck in my head...
It said "Life is nothing but a dream."
I've spent so many years in question
To find I'd known this all along.
