Yea it seems like its from members with really high numbers. What are you people expecting to get, side stage row 1. Seriously if you aren't happy with them then don't renew and take your chances with ticketmaster, its as simple as that. Its unreal the amount of bitching that goes on. Be happy you get to see them. Try living in sweden or japan and never ever seeing the band or the south.

Did anyone get floor tix for this show?

They must of gotten more than the 10% allocation of tickets, to be filling up the wings like that (reminds me of seattle 2000, where the fan seats were half the arena).

I guess the benefit of shows with the 10% fan club limit, is if you get tix you sit closers. Downside is if you're the people who can't get tix to that particualr show.

but yah.. if you're going to a show thats got a boatload of 10c members going, you probably won't be sitting too close :)

Yeah - its looking like at least the first half is all TC and at least the 2nd half of the floor is partly/mostly TC. I'm guessing up until like TC #s... 140xxxish?

hey just because you have a high fan club # doesn't mean you're any less of a fan, some of us may not have the money to renew every year or like me my membership lapsed when i was out of the country helping my sister with more important matters. people have lives, stuff happens, i was a member since the mid-'90s all for naught because my membership lapsed. alot of the people with low #'s act like they are some how superior, you're not... maybe 10c should look at the way bands like u2 do there fan club tix, if you ask me it's alot more fair. everyone has a chance to get decent seats, and you know what you're getting when you buy them, not just suprised on the day of the show. besides is it fair that the same people always get good seats forever, what about the teenagers who just discovered pj, will they ever get good seats? probably not.

I'm gonna get flamed for bringing this up again...I can just see metsfan groaning and going, "Here we go again with this shit with IamMine!"

But... aNiMaL, you were talking about TM tickets?

I was just thinking about mitchmoore2's TM tickets he bought - the front row for LA show through TM?

Suppose I had been shut out of 10c's presales for whatever reason... not enough money, tickets all gone, last minute plan, whatever...

And I showed up...but everywhere there are scalpers asking for more money for the tickets.

I want to get in but for face value...

Is it fair that if mitchmoore2 had asked for more than face value so that I can get in?

I know it's completely another argument and not related... but in terms of fairness and being a 10c member holding a TM ticket that would have allowed me to get in for face value... I'd much rather go through 10c and having the worst seats.

    :P

I hope everyone who were able to go to Chicago, got in and paid fair for their seats.... regardless of their seat locations!

*runs and hides until the setlist thread tonight*
JA: Why do I get the Ticketmaster question?
    EV: It's your band.

So many people on here bitching about their seat location. You should be thankful that you are at least in the building and will be seeing the greatest band in the world tonight!!! I'd kill to be in Chicago at tonight's show. I have to wait until the end of October to see them in Philly. I have a shitty Ten Club # and I'm not expecting really good seats...I'll take what I can get and be happy that I'm at the show.

Amen. I would LOVE to be in Chicago, rockin' out to the greatest band in the world. That said, I just didn't have the means to do so. So those that are lucky enough to be there (anywhere in the building), why don't you just enjoy the moment and take it all in - as opposed to crying about seat location.

I've been a 10C member since 1996 and I have to say that they have been nothing but awesome to me. I've been to forty shows since my first at Randall's and have bought 10C tickets to many shows. I'd like to tell all the 10C doubters/haters/complainers about two of my experiences when seeing the band.

Back in 1998 you could only order one show per tour. Being from New Jersey I chose to go to the only announced MSG show at the time (9/10/98). Tickets were mailed to you back in the day and I didn't get mine when the general sale went on. After the first show sold out they announced a second show and I immediately bought tickets to the 9/11/98 show. Firgured that I now had 10C tickets to the first night and pretty crappy seats the second night.

Well a few days later my 10C tickets come in the mail. Turns out they over sold the 9/10/98 show and I got tickets tforhe 9/11 show instead. However they were first row between stone and ed. turned out to be a pretty good show.

2003 same thing. oversold the second msg show and I opted for holmdel tickets iinstead. got first row in between MIke and Ed.

Needless to say, the 10C rocks!
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......
  • Wow. This thread is filled with WIN.

At least now I know what i'm in for if I don't ever get lottery. I'm 418,xxx.. will I complain? Absolutely not. Let's all get mad at the people who went to Woodstock because they were born before us.

And to the woman with the medical problem.. that's something u should take up when you bought the tix. Pearl Jam is gonna care if you don't go tonight, so it all depends on if you wanna hurt their feelings.

You all missed the point....... its not about seeing the band its not about being eye level.

I have been in the side sections many times and been pushed and shoved by others coming down to get a better view. Security does nothing about this. If you had nerve damage and an implant in your leg these things might concern you too. Call me a whiner call me a bitcher but my health care won't cover the only surgon who can fix my implant any more so I have to be careful. Had I known this was going to be my seat I wouldn't have come. Sorry if you all don't like my honesty and I hope you all never have to deal with the issues I hve had to.

This is the dumbest post I've ever read on this board.

My mistake today was voicing my opinion to any one other than my husband. He is the only one who understands the situation.

It has been a long few days of travel, but we work hard to enjoy this time. So what if I'm going to 3 shows.

Its a shame that people can't voice their opinions on here without it turning to mud slinging by some.

Also I dream of winning the lottery....... my being 2 away from winning oh well it wasn't my time. I view the 10c lotto the same as the regular lotto I dream of hitting it but that's it.

    Enjoy the show all

And why don't you think about all the hard working people who wanna be there but can't? So they come here and read your complaint about BEING 13 ROWS UP FROM THE FLOOR. I'll say maybe 20 feet in elevation. You have a seat no one is going to be pushing you. So what is the COMPLAINT?

Their are people I KNOW at that show tonight with a less than 10,xxx number,. Think about that one.

Save it. You don't get to guilt those of us who maintained our membership dues every year. Trust me, we all had more important things in life also, but managed to renew within the 90 grace period. Being out of the country is no excuse as many fan club members live outside the USA, and they manage to renew every years. You must think we are superior because we retain our lower fan club numbers and generally will be closer to the stage than you - but we are not "better"of fans. We just know how to renew our membership on non-tour years.

Oh, and everyone has the same chances to get rows 1&2 and rows 9&10 as they are randomly allocated within the fan club, regardless of seniority number.

Why would the PJ look how U2 does it; they have their own way that they devised and the MAJORITY are quite happy with it. They have made the four rows randomly allocated to accommodate the newer fan club members. I'd say they got it going on and are doing a great job.

Your posts sound a lot more like sour grapes to me.

I agree... *raises arm* Even though we are unemployed at this moment.

For once...I agree with Snoopy  but only one post. In regards of her going to three shows.

bionicamy, I'm sorry that you are getting flamed for voicing your opinions but it came out as complaining. It wasn't valid in many of our opinions.

If you truly had medical issues, you would have qualified for ADA seats if it affected you physically at the show.

Again, I said you could work with people around you to let them know of your condition and I am pretty sure they would be more conscious around you. And the ushers/security guards.

I hope you get to enjoy the show tonight... and just ignore us and don't let us ruin your night.

when your opinions come across as whiny , selfish and downright disrespectful to real fans of the band people take offense. i feel sorry for your husband, if you are complaining about a pair of the best seats in the United Center, imagine what else he has to put up with on a daily basis.

Your mistake was claiming that you were treated poorly by the Ten Club. Then bitched about your seat location. Then, as an after thought you state that you are not going - not because your are a seat snob, when clearly you acted like one.

And then used the excuse of leg implant issues and accused the security staff of only protecting a certain section of the arena. As though if you got seats where you anticipated to get seats, the security would be so much better and your leg wouldn't get hurt. If your leg is that bad, you shouldn't be going to a rock concert no matter where your seats are, or you should have a doctors note to get ADA seating.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...well.

yeah, but their senority has only 3 levels, 10+ years, 9-1 years, and new after show announcement. you get presale according to what level, and at least you know what your buying. oh and they don't release better seats day off show to the gen public.
