I picked up a medium t-shirt last night but need it in large. Fits pretty slim. Anyone want to trade? Send me a PM.

  • I told my friends before the show about this thread, and that if I could pick any opener it would be Of the Girl.

I also said there was 0% chance they would play it. I will not live that one down, but i couldnt have been happier

  • Your wish was answered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, very lucky indeed, I am sure you were on a different planet for 3 minutes.

I didn't get off that planet until the wee hours of the morning.

I don't know if it was karma or if somebody reads these threads...........But I just want to say a BIG, THANK YOU! (if you do indeed read and follow up on these things)

    BEAUTIFUL!

This was such an awesome opener, I'm glad you got your song BeerBaron. While they were playing it I was thinking to myself "somewhere amongst this insane crowd BeerBaron is a happy camper"
  • ..............and then the birthday comes around and Binaural is wrapped up. Of The Girl has never sounded better, except for live in Toronto.

  • A wee bump, just incase somebody is reading this and the band feels like ripping a crap load of tunes off of Binaural or just, Of The Girl one more time.

I'm there both nights, just incase you feel the urge just once. :)

Never had that tune here yet, boys!

Of the Girl opened the 2009 Toronto show at the Molson Amphitheatre that I was at, it was awesome.
I'm ok with it opening again.

Here is a link for Mikes Interview with rolling stone.

According to what he says they would try to not repeat an opener in the same city. So if Of the Girl opened Toronto 09 it would probably not open tonight.

  • It wasn't really about Of The Girl. It was about, reminding them of the need for more songs off of a great album............Oh by the way, THEY PLAYED THE WHOLE FUCKING THING! Props to the band for that!!!

And, not using up too much band width, with a new thread when I can just bump my own. You know.

Thank you to the band whether this had anything to do with the first night or not. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
