Beef Brisket>>17th St original location is the best I've had....LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVEEE their sauce. I could eat this stuff til my mouth wore out

I'd like to find the best cold cut sandwich ever, too.

I'd prolly use a rotoround scooter as trasportation and alotta reefer for entertainment and for the munchies when there's a few close stops.

If you were given a year off to research a food you like, and unlimited mileage on a rental car, what food would you research? Where would you research?

I would research cups of coffee in the US, probably head more towards cafes than diners, but definitely find the perfect cup of coffee. I'd use American Scenic bways http://www.byways.org/explore/byways/ as my travel line to start along the East Coast of the U.S, and then head west.

    Actually, probably cappuccinos.

    cheese~~I love cheese

I'd travel to Puglia and try all recipes with burrata ( a creme filled mozzarella)
Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
    Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

Living in the South, you won't have to travel very far! ;)
The interesting thing is that the BBQ style in the South changes from state to state....and sometimes from county to county.

When living down South I didn't have much BBQ, I wasn't down there much either. I imagine that some homestyle BBQ would be much more satisfying than a restaurant.
