But I have to say.. for me BERLIN is number one. The place, the energy of the crowd -- and Mike sending me kisses... and Eddie running past the front row and the fact that I got to touch his hand TWICE!
London was unbelievable too.. the setlist was just insane. Oh.. and in London Eddie pointed at my Cubs cap and smiled at me...
Never been to front row before... got to be in the front row 3 times this tour.. and once in second row...
I love you PJ!
Won't let the darkness swallow me.
I thought it was excellent.
London was also.
I think both were better than Shepherds Bush Empire as well.

1st: BERLIN (nothing can beat your first show!!!)
2nd: Manchester
3rd: London
After 6 songs at wembley there seemed to a be a lot of room towards the front. the first 5 rows or so were tight but outta there, a lot of air and space, and not nearly as much singing as there was at Berlin and manchester.
The berlin venue made that show what it was, the best outdoor arena i ever saw,.
But the Manc set was insane, and a ten minute rearviewmirror - was off th charts....
a real great tour, every show was 5 stars, and simply a reminder to us all that this band gets better every year, and probably havent peaked still. The best band in the world on a stage? by a country mile for me. Am I am obsessive fan? yes, am I trying to be objective still? yes, I believe there is no band that can touch these right now.
U2 play tonight in the UK. That will pale next to the magic i witnessed over the last week.

Er... no not even close... out of the 2 UK:
Band performance - LONDON
Crowd - LONDON
Setlist - personally LONDON but each to their own I'll accept a tie...
LONDON took it easily and yes I was at both... RVM was spectacular though!!
Troubled souls unite, we got ourselves tonight...
Astoria, Dublin, Reading 06
Katowice, Wembley 07
SBE, Manchester, O2 09

the beauty being that everyone sees it different.
Long road as an opener? Given to fly, leash, RVM, Black, smile - nailed it for me.
Setlist amazing, atmosphere amazing, the guys had lots of fun.

I only went to the O2 but it was nothing short of spectacular...it was my 18th show so I've gotten around...it easily makes my top 3 and could definitely be argued to be the best show I have seen...that's even after I have come down from the post show high!
The setlist was great...but the band was even better...and KUDOS to eddie for keeping his foot on the gas...I don't know how he can push 30 songs playing almost all hard rockers...my voice was gone after the 12th song.
One thing is for sure...I attended both MSG's and Hartford last year...those could never touch what I saw at the O2...forget the setlists...youre in for a treat, the band is really on fire. I can't wait for Seattle!
